Before Shortcut began his performance, he commended the CEO of Green
Label Entertainment, King Akan Eyo for the initiative and enjoined the
Abuja community to support the movement. Minutes later, the crowd went
ablaze when Morell graced the stage to deliver some of his hit songs.
Chocolate City’s finest, Jesse Jagz also made a brief appearance
although fans didn’t get to enjoy a performance from him.
The atmosphere was not all entertainment, Classic Rock Coffee Company
and Gyros2grill; official vendors of Take Over Tour were on ground to
ensure there was plenty to eat and drink. Thus, the first event
presented an avenue for the Abuja community to meet, eat, connect, and
drink in a creative atmosphere; an element of Take Over Tour which will
also be witnessed in the coming shows.
