KICK FOR HOPE CHARITY FOOTBALL PRESS CONFERENCE
Fashion For Charity Raise Funds For IDP Through KICK FOR HOPE. Fashion for Charity is a private sector initiative that harnesses the power of fashion, entertainment and the visual arts to make a difference in society. From Abuja to Milan to Atlanta, various industry players in fashion design, fashion photography, fashion media, modeling and more, have come together to become a force for good in Nigeria and beyond.

This year Fashion for Charity is on the plight of internally displaced persons from North-Eastern Nigeria. Fashion for Charity has been organizing a series of fundraising and resource gathering events and drives to alleviate the conditions of these IDPs in their camps/ settlements.

1. The Charity Drive (in Partnership with Fashion Designers Association Of Nigeria)
2. The Drop-Off Concert With Skales The Charity Drive 2, Abuja Nigeria.
3. The Fashion Revolution (in collaboration with Cecilia Rinaldi and Deshabille Magazine) Modena, Italy.
4. The Walk-Run-Fly Education Program (in Partnership with Venezuela and Afro Amiga) Abuja, Nigeria.
5. The Charity Auction in Partnership with FACT (Fight Against Child Trafficking) Abuja, Nigeria.
We aim to achieve our objective through a charity Football Event called – Kick For Hope.
The Kick For Hope Charity Football Match and Charity Fair

We are having a charity football match between HOPE FC (made up of players
from the diplomatic community including; Spain, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Finland and many more) and VIP United (made up of Abuja-based celebrities including Expensive (Wazobia FM), White Nigerian, Dike Chukwumerije, Asawana, ). The Kick for Hope Charity Football Match will pull in the Who’s Who of Abuja to come together for the plight of the internally displaced children who are in dire need ofassistance. The aim of the event is to raise N10 million to assist them with an education program within the BAMA/GWOZA camp, Durumi in phase 2 of The Walk, Run, Fly child education program.
To spread awareness about our event, we are also featuring music entertainment, food vendors, children fun land game, comedy bubble football and many more. During the event,
